Julia is accepting new clients!

Hello and welcome!

Hi there, I’m Julia (she/her)! I am a queer-identified, neurodiverse, bubbly extrovert, and avid live music enthusiast, navigating my own humanity, parts, and story with curiosity and a good dose of humor. One of my core priorities is to truly see and understand you. Not just as a client, but as a whole person with unique experiences, emotions, values, and inner wisdom. Your background, upbringing, culture, relationships, sexuality, spirituality, and the systems you live within all inform your story and your healing process. Together, we’ll explore how these pieces interact and shape your sense of self, your beliefs, and your patterns.

In a world of the unknown, I aim to co-create a space that feels truly safe, grounded, and welcoming where all parts of you are invited, even those that feel conflicted, overwhelmed, or unsure. I deeply believe that healing happens in relationships, and the therapeutic connection we build is essential. Through this relationship, I strive to empower you to reclaim your voice, deepen self-awareness, and move toward a life that is more aligned with your truth.

Everyone has the capacity for change, growth, and reconnection with their authentic self. I’m honored to walk alongside you as we navigate that path together. I would love to schedule a free 20-minute consultation call to see if we would be a good fit together and answer any questions you may have.

More About Julia

  • I am a queer-identified, neurodiverse, bubbly extrovert, and avid live music enthusiast, navigating my own humanity, parts, and story with curiosity and a good dose of humor. Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me exploring the best local coffee shops, tending to my ever-growing plant collection, and flipping through vinyl records. I am a big fan of the simple pleasures – nature, community, and collaborative spaces, painting, reading, journaling, an afternoon at Barton Springs, a good hot girl walk with a friend, and cuddling with my cat. I believe in showing up authentically, both in my personal life and professional work, and I’m always learning from the people, places, moments around me, and my own lived experience to better inform how I show up in session. I believe the opportunity to be a therapist to be a deep honor and privilege.

  • I understand and intimately know how challenging, confusing, and complicated life can be – especially when you’re carrying pain, uncertainty, or stories that no longer serve you. Therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry those pieces alone. It’s a space to gently explore, understand, and transform these parts and layers of your story with compassion and care.

I approach therapy from an integrative and dynamic perspective, weaving together holistic approaches to therapy, including attachment-based, emotion-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-focused, while employing a social justice, feminist, and systematic framework. I pull from Narrative, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatics, and Humanistic modalities to create a welcoming environment. I work with clients to uncover and honor the many parts of themselves that may have been burdened, silenced, or misunderstood. In our work together, we tend to these parts with curiosity and care, supporting them in stepping out of old protective roles and moving toward healing and integration.
