Celestie Nguyen, LCSW

  • Hi, I'm Celestie Nguyen, LCSW, a trauma and relational therapist providing affirming, trauma-informed care to adolescents and adults across Texas. As a queer, first-generation woman of color, I bring my whole heart and lived experience to my work with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks, especially around attachment-based trauma, anxiety, grief, shame, and the beautiful mess of identity exploration.

At Birdsong Psychotherapy, our space is rooted in safety, social justice, and anti-oppressive care, where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we'll explore childhood patterns, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and help your nervous system find ease. I draw from modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and ACT to tailor our work to what feels right for you. Whether you're navigating life transitions, relationship conflicts, perfectionism, neurodivergence, or intergenerational trauma, I'm here to meet you with curiosity and compassion. I believe healing happens when we're truly seen and have witnesses to our stories, and I can't wait to hear yours. Based in sunny (& humid) Austin and serving all Texas residents through telehealth, Birdsong Psychotherapy is committed to decolonizing mental health and fostering the kind of healing that honors our shared humanity. Let's be in community together!

Community and gratitude are some of my strongest values, so I want to also honor Ilyse, whom I was lucky enough to learn and grow under for 3.5 years. Under her guidance, I was able to draw from her wealth of knowledge, build a strong foundation, and grow the confidence to spread my wings and open my own practice. Here's to those who came before us and who continue to pave the way.

Madison Domin, LCSW, CCTP

  • Hi, I’m Madison (Maddie) Domin (she/her & they/them). I’m a queer, Latinx, larger-bodied, detribalized Indigenous Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is deeply obsessed with books and crochet. I grew up just outside Austin and completed my BSW at TCU—after a brief attempt at being a business major—before earning my MSSW on a clinical track at UT Austin. After graduation, I worked in community mental health within the Transgender Wellness Program at Out Youth, supporting queer and transgender young adults. In January 2025, I completed my supervision hours and earned my LCSW.

I know that finding a therapist who feels like the right fit can be nerve-wracking, and I’m glad you’re here. I work with teens (13+), young adults, queer and transgender individuals, women, people who dissociate, those practicing ethical non-monogamy, and couples. My clinical focus includes childhood and family-of-origin trauma, emotional and sexual abuse, relationship trauma, and life transitions.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in neuroscience, the mind–body connection, and a person-in-environment and epigenetic lens. I am EMDR trained and integrate modalities such as Internal Family Systems, somatic and experiential approaches, Sand Tray and art therapy, mindfulness and guided imagery, walk-and-talk sessions, and principles from the Neurosequential Model and Health at Every Size. For couples, I am Gottman Level 1 trained and trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy.

I believe therapy is not about fixing you, but honoring what you’ve survived and creating space to grow—together.
